Maintenance Planning

A clear rhythm for inspection and service.

The intervals below summarise the maintenance categories used in the current steering drive manual. The actual schedule should be adjusted to the vehicle duty cycle and operating environment.

W Every 50 operating hours

At least once per week. Routine visual inspection, cable and switch checks, surface cleaning and other frequent service items.

A Every 500 operating hours

Periodic inspection of wear, fixation and mechanical condition as specified in the maintenance checklist.

B Every 1,000 operating hours

At least once per year. More extensive inspection and scheduled service according to the relevant product condition.

C Every 3,000 operating hours

At least once every two years. Long-interval maintenance and component service as defined in the manual.

Running-in check

After approximately 100 operating hours, check the wheel nuts and bolts and retighten them where necessary. Dust, temperature variation, intensive shift operation and other severe conditions may require shorter maintenance intervals.

Document Control

Use the right manual for the right configuration.

JY ROBOT products can be configured with different motors, reducers, encoders, brakes, wheel materials and interfaces. A public manual provides the general service framework; project-specific documents should be checked where the configuration differs.

Identify the product

Record the product model, serial or nameplate information and the vehicle or project in which the component is installed.

Confirm the revision

Check the document version and compare it with any drawings, wiring information or instructions supplied with the project.

Carry out service safely

Isolate the power supply, secure the vehicle and ensure that maintenance is completed by appropriately trained personnel using suitable tools.

Record the maintenance

Keep the inspection date, operating hours, work completed, parts replaced and any abnormal wear or noise in the vehicle maintenance record.

Safety and configuration notice

Do not modify safety-related parts or carry out live electrical work. Use confirmed replacement parts and contact JY ROBOT when the model, revision or replacement specification is uncertain.

Maintenance documentation is one part of our support system. JY ROBOT combines a minimum standard warranty, long-term product-platform continuity, technical review and spare-part support to reduce service risk throughout the equipment lifecycle.

01 / MINIMUM WARRANTY

At least 12 months under normal use

Standard products are provided with a minimum 12-month warranty under normal operating, installation and maintenance conditions. Warranty requests are reviewed against the confirmed product, project configuration and order documentation.

02 / 5–10 YEAR CONTINUITY

Stable interfaces and core parameters

For established standard product platforms, the principal structure, mounting interface, installation height and core performance parameters are maintained for approximately 5–10 years, supporting replacement compatibility and reducing redesign risk.

03 / TECHNICAL & SPARE PARTS

Configuration-matched support

Our team reviews the model, nameplate, operating symptoms, images and project information, then helps identify compatible tyres, motors, reducers and other service parts for the installed configuration.

04 / AFTER-SALES CONTINUITY

Support beyond the warranty period

After the warranty period, customers may continue to request technical review, repair assessment, spare parts, replacement guidance and updated service documentation for supported product platforms.

Product model, nameplate photo, project reference and fault description.

Step 02 Technical review

Configuration, operating condition and available evidence are checked.

Step 03 Recommended action

Inspection, adjustment, replacement, return assessment or further testing.

Step 04 Service follow-through

Documentation, spare-part coordination and technical feedback as applicable.

Standard products carry a minimum 12-month warranty under normal use. The precise warranty commencement date, scope and remedies follow the applicable quotation, purchase order, contract or project agreement. The 5–10 year continuity commitment applies to established standard platforms; safety, regulatory, supply-chain obsolescence or agreed project changes may require equivalent updates. Normal wear, misuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation and operation outside the confirmed application may not be covered.
