Product Overview

JY ROBOT horizontal drive-steering units with single-sided wheel support integrate travel drive, active steering, reduction gearing, drive wheel and angular feedback into one module. The single-sided wheel-support structure provides a compact arrangement for integration into AGV and AMR chassis.

The series covers drive-wheel diameters from Ø150 to Ø280 mm, load capacities from 600 to 3,000 kg and rated tractive forces from 508 to 2,910 N. Different motor powers, gear ratios and travel-speed configurations are available.

Motor, gear ratio, encoder, brake, wheel-tread and interface configurations can be matched to the vehicle load, travel speed, available installation space, floor conditions and control-system requirements.

Project Supply & Customization

JY Robot supplies horizontal drive-steering units for AGV and AMR prototype, pilot and series-production projects. Model selection can be reviewed against wheel load, travel speed, available installation space, floor condition, wheel tread, voltage and steering interface requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I select the correct load capacity for this drive-steering unit?

Selection should not be based on vehicle gross weight alone. Please confirm the actual load carried by each drive wheel together with travel speed, acceleration, floor condition and chassis layout. JY Robot can review these inputs before recommending a suitable model.

Can this unit be supplied for prototype AGV or AMR testing?

Prototype quantities can be reviewed for development and vehicle-validation projects. Please provide the required quantity, application load, travel speed, installation space and preferred configuration so that technical compatibility and lead time can be confirmed.

Can the drive wheel use polyurethane or rubber tread?

Wheel tread can be selected according to floor condition, traction, noise, wear and load requirements. Polyurethane and rubber options can be reviewed depending on the selected model and application.

What installation information is needed before ordering?

Please provide the available installation envelope, mounting interface, required wheel diameter, vehicle load distribution and any height restrictions. A chassis drawing or mounting-space drawing is helpful when checking mechanical compatibility.

Can the motor, encoder, brake or control interface be configured?

Motor power, encoder feedback, brake and control-related options can be reviewed according to the AGV or AMR control system. Final configuration depends on the selected model and project requirements.
